Who we are
The Billion Dollar Homepage (the "Site") is operated by Blend Local Search Marketing ("we", "us", "our"). The Site lets visitors claim pixel blocks on a 100×100 grid, upload an image and a destination URL, and (if outbid) reclaim or be replaced by other buyers.
What we collect
When you sign in or buy a block, we collect: your email address (used for sign-in and purchase notifications), the display name you provide on your profile, the image you upload for each block, the destination URL you point it to, payment metadata returned by Stripe (last 4 digits, brand, billing country — never your full card number), the grid coordinates of any block you own, and the price history of each block (initial purchase + any outbids). We also log standard server access data (IP address, user agent, requested URL) for security and fraud prevention.
How we use it
We use this information to operate the Site — to create your account, process your payment, display your block on the public canvas, notify you when someone outbids you, and let you reclaim or replace a block. We do not sell your information to third parties. We do not run third-party advertising or analytics on this Site.
Third-party services
We share the minimum data necessary with: (1) Stripe, which processes your payment — see https://stripe.com/privacy for their privacy practices; (2) Resend, which delivers transactional email (purchase confirmations, outbid alerts, reclaim links); (3) Supabase, which hosts our database and authenticates you. Each vendor is contractually obligated to protect your data, but each has its own privacy policy that governs their handling of it.
Cookies
We use a single authentication cookie set by Supabase to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. You can clear the auth cookie at any time by signing out, and your browser's privacy mode will prevent it from being set.
Data retention
We retain your account data and block purchase history for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for tax, accounting, and fraud-prevention purposes. Block images and URLs remain on the public canvas for as long as you (or whoever outbids you) hold the block — they are part of the public record of the Site. If you would like your account data deleted, contact us; we will action it within 30 days, subject to retention obligations we cannot waive (e.g., completed Stripe transactions).
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to portability of your data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below. We will respond within 30 days.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we will delete the account.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we will post the new policy here and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after a material change constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
