Agreement
By using the Billion Dollar Homepage (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction. If you are using the Site on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these terms.
What the Site is
The Site is a digital advertising surface: a 1,000×1,000 pixel canvas organised as a 100×100 grid of blocks. Each block can hold one image and one destination URL. Blocks start at $100 (the minimum purchase is 1 grid unit = 10×10 pixels). Once purchased, a block can be replaced by another buyer who pays at least 5% more than its current total — at which point the new buyer's image and URL take over the block, and the replaced buyer is notified by email and may reclaim.
Accounts and sign-in
You sign in with a magic link sent to your email — no password is stored. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure. Anyone who can read your email can access your account.
Purchases, pricing, and refunds
Block purchases are processed by Stripe. All prices are in US dollars. We do not offer refunds once a block has been paid for: the block is yours (until outbid), your image is on the canvas, and the funds have been received. If your payment fails, your block is not created. Pricing may change over time; the price displayed at the moment of purchase is the price you pay.
Outbidding and reclamation
If someone outbids you, you receive an email with a one-time reclamation link. Reclaiming restores your block at 5% over the new buyer's total, with your previous spend credited — you only pay the difference. If you do not reclaim within the window stated in the email, your block passes to the new buyer permanently.
Content rules
You may not upload images or link to URLs that violate our /rules page. That includes: illegal goods or services, malware or phishing, adult content, unlicensed gambling, regulated substances, weapons, anything that breaches US advertising rules, content that is defamatory, harassing, or that incites violence. Be cool like The Fonz and don't be evil. We moderate paid blocks before they go live and may reject or remove any block that violates these rules.
Your content, your rights
You retain ownership of the images you upload and the trademarks in your destination URL. By uploading an image or linking a URL, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display that image and link to that URL on the Site for as long as the block is held by you or by anyone who outbids you. You represent that you have the right to grant this licence — i.e., the image is yours, or you have permission to use it.
Our content, our rights
The Site itself — the layout, design, code, copy, and the canvas as a whole — is owned by Blend Local Search Marketing and protected by copyright and other laws. You may not copy, scrape, frame, or mirror the Site without our written permission. You may, of course, share links to your own block and to the public canvas.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Site is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months immediately preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim brought by a third party arising from your block — its image, its destination URL, or its content — including reasonable legal fees.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will post the new terms here and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after a material change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Singapore, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
